Regular Meetings

“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together…but encouraging one another” (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Our community life is built up and continues to grow through the experience of meeting together on a regular basis.

Currently Women Youth Apostles gathers in four local communities: Oakton, in the Northern Virginia area; Blacksburg, in the New River Valley area of Virginia; Newport News, in the Tidewater area of southeast VA; and Emmitsburg, in the Northwest area of Maryland. All members gather for meetings, including formation, sharing, and adoration meetings. Mass and Evening Prayer are often included in our meetings. Guests are welcome. Check out when each of our local communities meet and who to contact about attending a meeting here.

Women Youth Apostles meets monthly for formation in the respective communities. During these meetings we have talks and discussions relating to our Catholic faith, our community, spiritual books, and more.

Women Youth Apostles meets monthly for sharing groups in the respective communities. During these meetings we divide into smaller groups to share openly about our lives. Although challenging in a world that prizes autonomy and independence, openness is an important part of our charism. Our community prayer ends by petitioning the Lord to “guide us always to proclaim your truth and your sacrificial love and to be examples to all we touch.” Meeting regularly for sharing groups is a fundamental means for deepening our sense of openness and a significant source of encouragement, challenge, and accountability for us to live in the truth.
