In addition to regular times of meeting, prayer, and retreat together, we have different events and activities in order to relax and be rejuvenated in the company and presence of our sisters. This could be something as simple as a game night or gathering around the holidays for a community meal.

In some of our communities we have been implementing monthly ‘Outreach’ initiatives with our sisters and friends, organizing a variety of social activities among sisters during a particular week of each month. So far we’ve had movie nights, weekend lunch outings, themed dinners at the house, and live music events with sisters! We have initiated a new social event for sisters and families, Women Youth Apostles Family Weekend. Rotating between our community locations, Family Weekend is a time for sisters, their spouses, and their families to meet together for fellowship.

In 2024 Blacksburg hosted Women Youth Apostles Family Weekend for sisters and their families to gather together. We went to Masses together, had various adventures in the New River Valley area, and had a cookout, among other various activities in Blacksburg area with sisters. 

This year Women Youth Apostles Family Weekend will be in the Northern Virginia area in July 2025.
